Pricing questions

Is there a contract or setup fee?

No contract: Clinic Answering Service plans run month to month and you can cancel from Billing settings. Setup is $0 for existing Radiatus EMR clients; for everyone else a one-time $249 onboarding fee covers EHR connection, number porting and a scripted go-live review.

How much does a medical answering service cost per month?

Human medical answering services usually bill per call or per minute, so the bill rises with volume. Clinic Answering Service is flat: $149, $349 or $699 a month with 300, 1,000 or 3,000 connected minutes included, and $0.35 for each extra minute.

What happens if I go over my minutes?

Extra minutes are billed at $0.35 each on the next Clinic Answering Service invoice, and minutes used so far are shown in Billing. Automatic usage alerts at 80% and 100% are planned; until then the team emails you when you near your allowance. You can move up a plan mid-month with the difference prorated. Spam, robocalls and wrong numbers never count.

Can you show a worked billing example?

Example 1: a Solo practice uses 340 minutes in a month: $149 + 40 × $0.35 = $163. Example 2: a Practice plan with a second location and 1,250 minutes: $349 + $99 + 250 × $0.35 = $535.50. A new customer who is not a Radiatus EMR client also pays the one-time $249 onboarding fee on the first invoice. Any state sales tax that applies is added on top.

Does the Solo plan really include a BAA?

Yes. HIPAA does not have a small-practice exception, so neither does Clinic Answering Service. Solo, Practice and Group all come with the same signed Business Associate Agreement, AES-256 encryption, role-based access and audit logging, and the BAA is signed before your first patient call is forwarded.

How are multiple locations billed?

The Group plan includes up to 10 locations, each with its own number, greeting, hours and schedule. Practice covers one location and can add more at $99 per month each. Clinic Answering Service pools minutes across all locations on the account.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every new Clinic Answering Service workspace gets a 14-day free trial with no card required. The trial runs the full booking, insurance and transfer flow with a call simulator and sandbox EHR and eligibility connections, so use sample data only, never real patient information. A person replies to demo requests within one US business day.

Never send a patient to voicemail again.

Ask for a demo and a person replies within one US business day. BAA signed before the first patient call. No long-term contract.
